Cody's Arm

Cody broke his arm when he was jumping his friends motorcycle. He had done a couple of jumps already but it was almost time for him to go home. So he thought that he would do a big final jump. His friends stood back with their video camera phones and caught the jump on video but missed the landing. He broke his left arm just above the wrist. He is doing good now. At his last Doctors appointment they just put his arm in the cast so hopefully that means no surgery!!

Teacher Conferences
All of the kids are doing awesome. Jacob's teacher wants to have him tested for the gifted program. She also suggested that he run for student counsel or TV crew next year just to challenge himself. Ethan's standard test came back in the above average in math and very high in reading. Mequell is doing really well, too! She needs to practice reading out loud because she gets really embarassed in class. SO we will be reading alot at home which is great for me because I love to read!! Other than that the teachers always comment on how wonderful and well behaved they are!! But I knew that!!

Blessings to all!!

Spring Break

It has been a beautiful week. The rain stayed away most of the time and the temperatures were great! We did not do anything exciting but we did what we like to do stay home and play together. We are really home bodies We like to visit places and visit with friends and family but we are always ready to go home!

Cody went to the Doctor on Tuesday and they attemped to set his arm but from what he says they were not successful. Next week he is going back and they will either cast it or schedule surgery.

All of our kiddo's are doing really well in school. Mequell needs alittle more practice reading but other than that they are awesome!! Cody is having alittle trouble with Algebra but improving.

Caleb's speech continues to improve and is independently making and occasional 5-6 word sentence. We have all baby talked him to death and now we are having to make sure to speak to him in complete sentences. I am going to enroll him in the Four Year old Program at school. He should be starting Kindergarten but I want him to have the extra year to develop his speech.

Makenna is really good! She is talking alot too! Sometimes as well as Caleb. She is also going through some Terrible Two issues!

Scot is really enjoying his new job. It is a little adjusting but all for the better. This weekend he helped my brother lay tile in his kitchen.

I am doing OK. I finished my fast track class at school and now I only have Calculus for the rest of the semester. I am busy with the kids and Mona Vie.

I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.

Doing Good Now

Yep, Cody did break his left arm, just above the wrist. He is wearing a splint for a few days to let the swelling go down. Then they will cast it.

Cody and Jacob just had birthdays!

We have all gotten over the flu and what ever else was going around. Yeah!!

Spring has sprung and we have been outside alot enjoying the beautiful weather.

Scot started his new job today and hopefully he likes it!

Oh No!

Today we got a frantic phone call from Tina, Cody's Mom, and she said that they were on their way to the hospital because Cody broke his arm. Scot headed off about 4:30 pm and has not returned or called and now it is 8:15. I hope all is well. Really worried!
